Dear Colleagues- I have about exhausted all possibilities on finding info on deaths of my G.grandfather/mother, John W. and Mary Shelton Hall (1834-?, 1838-? respectively) He was noted as living alone in 1900 and a widower in 1910, still living in 4th District. He is noted in Goodspeed's Rutherford Co. publication He was a Justice of Peace. He is also noted on the 1878 Beer's map a little south of Rock Creek Church. I believe the road they lived on is now called Lee Highway. Their children were: WILLIAM A., LARRAPHINE, CHARLOTTA, SARA E., JIMMIE S., MARY L., AND JOHN Mary L. I suspect Mary L. is my grandmother, though her middle initial is actually R (Rebecca). Hoping the L is a typo. They were ardent members of the Church of Christ. I believe the Rock Springs church is such. I have no idea where, when, how, John or Mary died or where buried. No Obits have emerged. I am sure something exist somewhere. He was a fairly prominent person if Goodspeed and census data are even partially correct. Any assistance will be much appreciated. Paul --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
