    1. Re: [TNRUTHER] Lasater/Lassiter familes
    2. Thomas,I don't know how Mr. Sam fits in...just had an idea he did...What I have started with.... probably(1) Thomas around 1620 (2) We believe Robert was his child, and(3) George was Robert's. (4)Then we know Moses was George's son...Judith Eason married Moses and they had Frederick.(5) Frederick first married Abner Eason's daughter. Abner was Probably....maybe....Judith's brother ....maybe.....Anyway, Frederick then had Jethro, and his wife died. and he, Frederick, married Sarah Walton. She had brothers, William and Isaac. (6)Frederick and Sarah had Frederick.......then Frederick Sr. Died and Sarah married David Stanley. HERE IS WHERE THINGS GET MIXED UP.......Go back to Abner Eason....he had another daughter...Absillah, who married John Rhodes. and they had Rachel. Now this makes Absillah Jethro's(young Frederick's half brother) aunt and Rachel is Jethro's first cousin. John Rhodes , who had been a long hunter brought his family to Mansker's Station..Goodlettsville..probably when the Waltons brought their families here. ( In fact, Isaac Walton stayed here, but John and family went back a bit to the east with William Walton and settled with him at Carthage...Al Gore's hometown...but don't tell anybody....This took place c1802) Now here is where some have got mixed up....Young Frederick left NC and came to Manskers where he married Rachel Rhodes.(7) They raised six kids....they died and are buried probably in that cedar thicket on Williamson Road in Sumner County. But about the same time, this other Frederick shows up....he might be a couple of years younger than this one, but not much...He marries a Nancy....I believe ...Smith. They live in the Murfreesboro/ Lebanon area...for awhile, then they move on to Arkansas...where they are buried. You say this Frederick's father was Hardy? He came to Tn too, didn't he? Seems as if I remember him..Know who his Dad was? Thomas, the reason I feel so certain is the Walton and Eason connections. I have more on the Lassiters that I'd love to share....and a friend in Texas who might know more. He and I are elevenly-sixth cousins from back there somewhere. let me hear from you...Bib
