My family also came from NW Georgia to Rutherford Co. at this time. My ancestor, Jeremiah Ramey only spent the last 5 months of the war in the army but, he died of the effects from the war. Check military records for your Daniel. He may have been wounded and Comfort went to care for him. He could be buried there also. Anne
