Just a matter of figuring out what caused the move to Rutherford Co. Comfort and husband Daniel were in Dekalb Co. the two census prior to 1870. As near as I can figure, Daniel passed away some time between 1860 and 1870 and that prob. along with the war prompted the move for both David and his mom Comfort. In 1880 Census Comfort is no where to be found so she must have passed on. David and family are back in Dekalb Co. TN in 1880 and I believe some of his brother's and sisters families moved on to Gibson and Crockett Counties. I've not been able to find where Daniel and Comfort were buried.
