Yes, I have pics of the Church.....A friend sent them to me when he was looking for the old Arnold farm a couple of years ago...and that piqued my interst in finding the history of the church..Richard, sr. was born in Murphreesboro in 1820...His mother was an unnamed barmaid, according to the family legend....He died in 1893 and is buried in Suggs Creek cemetery, in the Hamilton plot(his second wife)...Richard, Jr(the Evangelist) was born in 1849...He married Mary Elizabeth Bradshaw, in Wilson county...They traveled the middle Tennessee area in a covered wagon, with the children, while Richard preached...My grandfather, Bernice Bender Woodroof, was born in that wagon, in January, 1884....His sister, my Aunt Ola, remembered rubbing his feet to keep him from freezing to death.... Anyway, I just thought that I might find something interesting in the Church history or that cemetery.... _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
