Well, I appreciate any help I can get..This Church sits on what I figure is the southern border of my Richard Woodroof's land..Since his son, Richard, jr., was an itinerant Evangelist for the Church of Christ, I have just wondered if they might have had the Church built there....and if there are any records mentioning their names... Betty, I'm glad you sent it to the list. I had forgotten who it was I had tried to help with this church and now maybe I can. Betty, Have you taken pictures out there? (I'm sorry, you may have already said.) It sure makes you wonder, doesn't it? It makes sense that he would have put a church on his land if that's what he did. Do you have dates for Richard and Richard, Jr? This is very interesting. I don't mind asking questions and climbing fences. Actually, it would be neat to get all this together and put it on the Rutherford County web site.
