    3. That's my Williams/William, Ray :) (As you know...) Ok, I'm convinced about Fred. Now I need to go back and find out who TOLD me he died in 1819!! Dunno if I can change the record books here in Rutherford..I kinda doubt it..but I do believe you! James must have just visited Rutherford to marry in 1837. Was this the same James who married Frances Gaines? I thought they grew old and died... Also, I see no marriage record of them here. (That apparently doesn't mean much.) I'm about to throw away all my Barfield genealogy! I do see some old Rutherford names in this, though, so I've forwarded the email to the other list, too. Everyone should know that Rutherford County has the best volunteers in the whole USGenWeb Project that I've seen! I have other TNGenWeb CC's who ask me how in the world I get ppl to type all this stuff for the web site. I tell them...I don't ask, they come to me and suggest things and offer their time. Y'all are the best!
