    3. Is there anyone who has access to the 1840 TN census for Rutherford County who can do a look-up for me? I am trying to find a family of McCullough/McCulloch/McCulla who are living in Rutherford or Wilson County, TN in 1840 and have a female age 14 yrs. I am trying to find the family of my ggggrandmother, Amanda Melvina/Melvina Amanda McCullough/McCulloch who married Mansfield Ferguson in Wilson County,TN in 1842. Mansfield & Amanda Ferguson are found in Davidson Co, TN from 1850-1880+. Thanks for any help you can give me.     3. Sherri I have the 1840 Rutherford Co. TN Census in Book format. Here is the Key for the 1840 census Males are in the left hand column (to the left of the dash) Females in the right hand column(to the right of the dash) columns read left to right as follows under 5/5-10/10-15/15-20/20-30/30-40/40-50/50-60/60-70/70-80/80-90/90-100/over 100 There were Three McColough households listed Ru-89 Alex McColough 001000001-00200001 Ru-103 Go. W. McColough(I think that might be George) 10001-00001 Ru-66 Robt. McColough 111001-2012001 >From that info looks like she could be in either Alex or Robert's household.
