Lewis Esqrs. be appointed a committee to examine the acct. of the county trustee, staff & clerk so far as regards the county tax and report to this court tomorrow at 12 oclock ----- A majority of the Justices of the peace being present the following persons were appointed constable for the year 1829. to wit. John W. Smith is appointed constable in Kayesville[?] District- who offers as his Securities Joseph Leazion[?] & Jos. M. Smith who are approved of by the Court. ----- Henry M. Hicks is appointed Constable in Captn Foster's District who offers as his Securities- William A Gill, Will M Shears[?], Richard Wynne, Captn Athenatus Thomas who are approved of by the Court ----- James Murphrey[or Murphery] is appointed Constable in Capt.
