    3. Hi Carolyn Thank you. Yes I have and am checking all similar lines which include Lantern/Lantron/Lanton and Landrum and have yet to see it spelled the way my grgr grandaddy said it was spelled in his pension files, Lantrum. Ha! Go figure. I guess one hears what he hears. :-) I do know of the landrum line in that area and did find Henry's though turned up not to be mine. I appreciate your input. As of date, I have found no Henry that matches in any Landrum line but am still keeping that option open as well as any others. There was a Lantern line from NC that was found in rutherford co tn also. also the FEW lantrum's I do find online, have actually turned out to be Landrum. Except one that I am looking into now and it seems to be Lanton. My Henry's son Joseph was seen as LANTRON on the 1870. So I lean towards Lanton/Lantron/Lantern and who knows before 1815 what it'll be! ha.
