Not sure if we are the same King family, there are several, but........ My Ggrandfather was John W. King, of Franklin, Williamson County, Tennessee. His father was Anthony King, from N. Carolina. His mother was Jane Campbell of Franklin. Anthony was killed during the Civil War and is buried in Tullahoma. Jane is buried in Franklin at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Siblings include but are not limited to, T. P. King and Eliza King. It was reported in his death announcement (1934) that T. P. King was living in Okla., Eliza in Franklin. The house that he built and lived in at the time of his death is still standing on Columbia Pike just outside of downtown Franklin.
