Thanks so much for your help, Mary Pat. I found the info on Lt. James Blythe Morton very interesting. Just recently I found out that in VA there were two separate MORTON clans. One clan members of the Church of England and the other were Presbyterians. My MORTON line as far back as David were Methodists, so not sure which they would have belonged to previously.
