To Hallstree - I came across a John Johns(John) who was from PA who lived in the Wilmington District of NC ca 1750. His estate was probated there although there is a reference to land he owned in Charles Town, PA. Regarding Lester...a man named Isham/Isom Lester is listed as a son in law of my James McDonald/McDonnold who lived in Alabama circa 1820. I do not have a name for James' daughter (Isham's wife) but I would like to know more about the Lesters if they are familiar to you. Thanks. Frances Trimble.
