A friend of mine bought some land on Versailles Rd. He found the following. Is anyone researching this area? HI Mari, There were Nance's in that area. I think you may find some information on them in a book at the library in Murfreesboro on the district around Versailles. Also, there is a Jackson Cemetery in the same area. It is up a rise about 30 feet off the road and on land adjacent to a one story brick house. (These are my Jacksons, but the cemetery was so unkempt, we could never get close. About 10 years ago, there were markers in that cemetery.) If this should be the correct one, I'd love to have permission to explore that cemetery with the home owners okay. I live in Manchester.
