Hi Wilarlie, I moved in 1969 when I was 5 yrs. old, so I went to school in South Carolina. We lived on Simmons Avenue in the Woodbine area. My grandmother still lived on that street up until last year when she was moved to a nursing home. Then we lived on Berry Hill Drive for two years. The state came in and bought our house...tore it down to build the new interstate that came through that area near 100 Oaks shopping center. After that my father's job tranferred us to South Carolina. I still consider Nashville my home. I visit as often as I can....about every two or three months. All of my family in Nashville attended Saint Edwards School and Father Ryan. In fact, today their children now attend those same schools even though some of them have moved to the Brentwood & Lavergne areas. My father was William "Skipper" Hunt. He played in a band in Nashville, and went on to play all his life up until the time he died. The Rockabilly Hall of Fame has a website that even list him. I got a kick out that when I found it! Some of the guys in the band were Gayle Whitfield, Larry Henley, Sam ? (can't think of his last name right now, but I believe he still owns a music store in Nashville). I didn't mean to get carried away. I just love Nashville. It's a great place and I sure miss my family there. Maybe one day I'll get to move back. Have a great Sunday! :>) Deborah On Sun, 25 Mar 2001 18:16:07 EST WILARLIEKB@aol.com writes: > In a message dated 3/25/01 2:24:16 PM Central Standard Time, > TNRUTHER-D-request@rootsweb.com writes: > > << scvolsfan@juno.com >> > Deborah, I lived on Hartford Drive in Woodbine from 1952 to 1960, > then we > moved to Huntsville, AL.
