Karen,(and list) This is probably not your Bettie Pearson but just out of curiosity I checked the Bedford Co Marriages book and found a Bettie Pearson and Auther D. Thompson(as spelled in book) marrying on July 9th of 1898 Chas. A Ruth, security by J. R. Cleek it is in Vol K(1896-1898)of Bedford Co TN Marriage Records on Page 498. Hope this helps Marie C.
