I am searching for James Jordon Clark b.abt . 1820 , probably NC ( from what little information on him I have ) He m. 7 Aug. 1837 Elizabeth Brewer in Rutherford Co.Tn. I assume her family lived there in 1837 as most females married out of there families home or church at that time . They are my 3rd great grandparents and I am at a brick wall on either of there families . There 1st son they named Sterling V. Clark b 22 Jan 1839 in Tn. Such an unusual first name I assume is from some of there family names . In census of Franklin Co. Illinois it list there 1st . 4 ch. being born in Tn. and last 6 in Illinois . Any help on either of these families sure would be appreciated . Catherine
