Burrell Perry JOHNSON's s/o Edward JOHNSON b 1772 SC d 1852 Rutherford Co., TN. His wf was Mary McMINN b 1774 d 1843 Rutherford Co. Mary McMINN's father was Robert McMINN b c1740. He fought in the Revolutionary War. I have papers from a cousin that is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution confirming this and stating that Robert McMinn was a member of the Safety Committee in North Carolina.
