They were among the early settlers of Murfreesboro and most of their are buried in the Evergreen Cemetery. I would especially like information on William H.J. Primm and Nancy C. Vaughan who left in a wagon going west. It is said that both drowned when their wagon sand in the Mississippi River at Tipton County. I also have heard that they are buried in Covington, Tenn. but am unable to locate records. This drowning occurred in Jan. 1851. Most of their children were survivors and adopted by Uncles. Does anyone know if Nancy drowned? There was a daughter with the birthdate of 1851 (same year of the accident). Please write to me if you can help me with any information. Mary Ann Askenburg
