I am researching the family of Toliver Ferguson, b abt 1800, who married Catherine Winters (b abt 1804 NC) in Rutherford Co in 1824. I cannot find the parents of either Toliver or Catherine. Also found in Rutherford Co at this same time is an Anderson Ferguson and his family. Since Toliver and Catherine name one of their sons Anderson, I suspect that this Anderson Ferguson of Rutherford Co is of some relation to my Toliver Ferguson (older brother perhaps).
