May have spelling wrong. There was a property owners map of Rutherford Co, Tn about 1880 that is quite good, shows all the towns and ESPECIALLY the DISTRICT NUMBERS OR TOWNS that the census taker used in 1880, 1900 census. (Not the ED number at top right corner of page, but the town and/or district number in the center at the top of the census page.) It also shows property owners names. Huge map (about 4' X 5') and wondering if still available? Used to cost less than $10. If so, I bet lots of readers on this list would like it. Joyce.
