Robert America Adcock was in Bedford and Rutherford counties 1840- 1892 his death. His son Irving (Ervin. S.) Adcock married in Christian Co. Ky in 1886. My relative John Wesley Adcock b. 1871 in Bedford Co.,TN , married in Christian Co., Ky in 1900, died 1918 in Christian Co. Tn. He is listed in the household of his grandfather Robert America Adcock in 1880 in Bedford Co., Tn. I do not have any Davis in the Adcock family, but I have Pleasant P. "Doc" Davis, who married into my Crick family, and George Washington L. Davis in Christian Co., Ky. his brother R. D. W. Davis. Carol Thank you for your response. The Davis family that hooked up with my McNairy Co TN Adcocks were in Christian Co KY between 1800-1830. So, most likely not a connection - or maybe distant.
