Glad to help! I majored in Textiles and Clothing and worked years ago as an apparel designer..... just be sure the seams don't have long threads hanging that could wrap around those tiny digits, or any long strings like you used to see on those bag sleepers, and are soft next to their soft skin! If they're sensitive it may be harder to get cotton instead of synthetic fabrics. I haven't looked at doll clothes for a few years- my girls are now in college, but I had little cotton sleepers that snapped up, from Cabbage Patch. Don't know if they still make those. The children's apparel has lots of regulations that you won't find in toys, so just check them out real good! I know the American Girls baby clothes are made beautifully, but are high, but if any of your other grandbabies have any of those they'd be willing to share........ -----Original Message----- From: keyofbflat@comcast.net To: tnruther@rootsweb.com Sent: Sat, 2 Dec 2006 6:07 PM Subject: Re: [TNRUTHER] 1812 pensioners I love it! I've just bought Evie a pair of Lil Bratz pink shoes. Her foot is the length of my thumb...the show fits perfectly! I'm going to look for doll clothes :) I've been buying preemie stuff but shoot, doll stuff is prolly cheaper :) Mari At 11:41 AM 12/2/2006, you wrote: > Mari, > I was serious when I said I dressed my premie in doll clothes! > Cabbage patch were the rage, and they had a baby line that fit her > when she was 5-6 lbs!
