Altho' I have answered the posting once, that stated N,Peek was the father of your Thomas by mentioning that my Nathaniel Peek was the brother of my grgrgrandfather James Russell Peek ,a Cherokee half-blood bn abt 1790,Indian Lands NC,I didn't pick up on your Thomas' occupation of blacksmith. That also the occupation of not only my James Russell Peak, but also of his father, James, an Irishman who married a full blood Cherokee of the Christie family, was also a blacksmith to the Cherokees in the area the Cherokee Towns of the Hiwassee River in NC and later near Frog Town,another Cherokee Town also along the Hiwassee inGA..
