Looking for Murph(e)ys in pre-1850. Settled in Maury/Marshall Co. eventually. Especially William B. Murphey (b. 1801 NC, m. Mary "Polly" Benton) and precendents. They had sons in 1st/6th TN Cavalry CSA. thanks, Mark Murphy
