I really should join TNRUTHER-L so I could just send it to the list and you wouldn't have to bother with it. I've been so dog gone busy. You may already know about all this...I just wanted to make sure. We've been doing the Rutherford County Record Book indexing. Marty is in charge and has done such a great job! We only have seven letters left to type up. If anyone on your list wants to help please have them give me a yell. Also, and this hasn't been posted yet, one of our Rutherford folks out in Texas, Joyce, has taken the old Beers 1878 county map and has scanned each district! We're typing up lists of the ppl who lived in each district along with the businesses. Joyce has worked so hard on this..it amazes me! Steve Gilley, the Sullivan Co CC and a great friend of mine is taking the district maps, etc. into an image map maker and is making each district clickable, so that when you click on a district you see the enlarged district and the list of ppl and businesses there :) We also have a few districts that haven't been typed if someone on your list wants to volunteer to help with that. I'm just really excited! Joyce has even indexed the towns!! All this will be clickable when I get it posted to the Rutherford web site.
