My third great grandfather was James Wilson Morton and his wife was Nancy Newsom of Rutherford Co., TN. This James was not Jr. because his father was James Blythe Morton who m. I know that a man named Samuel Morton purchased land from Sarah Cummins and John Edwards...Sarah being a sister of Uriah S.
