Hi all. I just received information on a Mary Ann Davis Linthicum b. 1850(looks like) who applied to the Cherokee Rolls, too late apparently but is apparently cherokee. Her husband was J.N. LINTHICUM? She was born MS. Son James Wylie LINTHICUM b. 1878, her fathers english name and indian name was Samuel DAVIS prob b. ca 1820 unknown location. Mother english and indian name was Martha Jane Elizabeth McAlexander. b. AL Siblings include George b 1848 Martha Jane (oldham) b. ? Julia Davis b. ? Candes (Row) b. ? I mention this becuase her grandparents on her fathers side are Billie DAVIS and Betsie Davis Nee Burnett and mothers side William McAlexander and patsy ? McAlexander ------ all from TN and I know there wre some DAVIS families on the 1878 Ruth. co. maps online. Does anyone know of this family. I am searching Lanthrum/Lantrum/Lantron/Lantrom? I was hoping to find information to her. She is cousin to# 21397, not found who that is yet. I think it can be found online at the NARA site.
