Hi Deborah, I know very little of my Hunt line. I am looking for parents and siblings of Hustus Hunt that married Elizabeth Winston in 1853. Also, for Mahala E Hunt that married Elizabeth's brother, Isaac N. Winston in 1847. All I have found on Hustus is where he was in court in 1852 in Wilson County, where he married Elizabeth in Rutherford County in 1853, and a court petition for divorce filed by Elizabeth in 1856. They only had one known son, Joseph Alexander. Elizabeth and Joseph moved to Huntsville, Madison County, Al by 1860. The other Hunt's I have been researching, yet do not know if they connect, are the Hunt's descended from John Hunt, founder of Huntsville, Al. They seem to be everywhere. Have you ever seen these names? Anything would be helpful. I will go to Wilson County and Rutherford in a few weeks or so to check the court minutes.
