Mary Frances White was my grandfather's sister. She was married to James N. Puckett that is supposed to have killed Mary Frances's father, William White. There was a grand jusy investigation but not enough evidence. Family legend on both sides though say it was James N. Puckett that shot and killed my gr-gr-grandfather. Had you heard this story.
