Thought I would give a few more names and some dates. Hopefully someone will be able to help me out. William Carroll White was married twice. His first wife was Cornelia E. G. (Ellie) Cothran and his second wife was Fannie Hibernia Vernon. Children from the first family were Idella Tennessee Alice, who married John Jordan, Tabitha Ellie, who married Elmore Shack Bennett, and Ada Frances, who married S. L. White. Children from the second marriage were Crawford J. G., William D., Betty B., Ola Mae, John Washington, Robert E., Mary D., Tinsley Vernon, Henry Roy, Julia Ann, and Frank Hollis White. William White, 6/11/1811 - 2/26/1874, (supposedly murdered by son-in-law James N. Puckett) and Eliza Taylor 11/25/1817 - 8/8/1868, were the parents of William Carroll White. Siblings of William Carroll White were Julia Ann(Dr. Amasa Webb Manier), Mary Frances(James Nathaniel Puckett), Amanda, John T., Sarah C. T., Joseph C., Martha Jane(William Carroll Taylor), and Margaret. Eliza Taylor's parents were Robert Taylor, 1799 - 1846, and Eliza Branch, ---- - 1846. Eliza Branch's parents were Benjamin Branch, 1740 - 1819, and Nancy Neblet. I haven't studied beyond Robert Taylor and William White. They are two lines I want to explore. Robert Taylor, by family lore, is said to be the nephew of President Zachery Taylor. I don't have proof for that, just family lore. Anyone have any help for me? Johnny
