Hi Paul, My grandmother was Addie Zumbro, her mother was Mary M. Hall, daughter of Randolph Hall and Mary Cannaday. Randolph and Mary Cannaday had children, John , Abner, Mary M., Lavender, Mormon, Lambert, and Jarmon. I have found John listed as John W. and John R. Randolph's parents were Jonathan Hall and Joannah Barton, they had about fifteen children and one of them was named John W.. So I believe this must be the same family as yours. My grandparents lived on Halls Hill Pike and this was a toll road at one time. Run by the Hall and Barton families. My grandparent bought the old toll house after it was no longer a toll road. Hi Vernon- First, thank you very much for the message. Randolph Hall does not show up in any of the searches I have done on my John W. Hall. But, much of it is via Ancestry.com's One World Tree which is difficult to verfy. Do you have a birth date for Randolph's or Jonathan's John W. Hall and marriage/children data? That would be very helpful in that my grandmother was a child of John W. Hall.
