Beverly, John Reed b. 1764 Randolph Co, NC applied for a Revolutionary War pension from Bedford Co, TN in 1832. His wife Sarah Bolen Reed applied in 1845 for a widow's pension. This record is in Soldiers of the Revolution of Bedford Co, TN by Tim and Helen Marsh and I first found it the new book, Pioneers of Rutherford County, TN. I do not have a copy of the original pension and need to get a copy to verify several things.
