Kinda makes you wonder, huh. Also, the large home Harriet bought in Natchez was purchased with Spanish money. I realize that around 1820 Natchez was under Spanish rule. Williams' had an uncle James there and his Dad close by. His Dad was "thrown out of Amite County, MS. for talking about his neighbors' wives. (I swear..it's true!)
