I'm researching the family of Ben Lillard (1787 Va - 1867 Rutherford Co,Tn). Specifically I'm interested in his sons - Thomas and Mordecai, but would like to learn about the rest of his children too. The children of John Howard show up in the 1860 census living with the Lillard's: Mary Elizabeth P. Howard married Thomas Lillard, Sarah Howard married Mordecai Lillard. There were also Ann, Wilkerson "Wilkie", James, and John Howard. I haven't figured out (yet) what happened to James or Ann. Or how the Howard children came to live with the Lillard's after (I presume) their father's death. Were they related? I'm also researching Richard S. Keele. Thank you! Terri
