Still looking for anything on Lifus SHELTON (born 1825 in Virginia) and Sarah HOOVER (born 1825 in Tennessee). Sarah is the second wife and they were married in 1850 in Rutherford County then moved to Illinois. Anything on their parents or siblings would be much appreciated. Norma
Norma, I have a Sarah Ann Hoover in my database and a few Shelton's, but no Lifus. Sarah would have been my half GGG Aunt and her mother was my GGG grandmother, Sarah Ann Priestley (Hoover), (Gregory), (Burnette). Sarah Hoover's known sibs were Martha Jane Hoover, James Priestley Hoover, and Joseph Hoover. I don't have anything on Sarah Ann Hoover, except that the age you gave would have been close and her family was in Rutherford County around the time you state. If any of this sounds like yours, I do have quite a bit on Sarah Ann Priestley Hoover and her ancestors. Let me know if you are interested. Hello Keith, Sorry to have taken so long to answer. Been having trouble with the cable company; service has been in and out but they came out to fix it yesterday so I'm back in business. I wouldn't mind having a copy of whatever you have on this Hoover bunch but can't honestly say if she's the one I'm looking for. The information I gave in the roll call was all I have going backward. This is my husband's line and no one seems to know anything. In fact no one even knew their names until I found it for them. Needless to say, it's going to take me a while yet. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer. Thanks, Norma At 03:27 PM 1/24/2005, you wrote: >Norma, > >I have a Sarah Ann Hoover in my database and a few Shelton's, but no >Lifus.
