Jim, Yes, the Mullins that own the jewelry store on the square are related to my line of Mullins. Nelson William Mullins, the son of Nelson Mullins (b.1814),has a son named Herschel Mullins who owned the Jewelry store. I don't know which White married a Smotherman. William White {the father of Dorothy White who married Thomas Marion Cooke} was my ggg-grandfather. I I don't know Cheryl Reed. I am descended from Edmund Reed or Read from Alabama, the son of Daniel Reed (Read). His daughter Susan Read married Nelson Mullins.
