I am looking for info on all the Byfords that were in Rutherford and Cannon CO from about 1806 to 1850. I am particularly interested in John Byford who married Sarah Elliot in 1824. He was my gggrandfather and I only know of one son, named Henry C. Byford who was born in 1826. These Byfords had moved to Edwards Co ILL by 1850 and the 1850 census has John's place of birth as NC and Sarah's place of birth as KY. Does anyone have any other information on this family?
