Ann, I'm not sure. I am researching John Dickson, born abt. 1775-1780, who married Polly Roach in Rutherford County around 1816. I have the names of John and Polly's children, and info. on Polly's parents. I even have information on Polly's first marriage, but I "cannot" find out where John Dickson came from. There are so many John Dicksons in the NC and TN area. Any help from anyone would be appreciated. Tooter Dickson

I am researching an Enoch N. Dickson who married Martha L. DAvis. Enoch N. Dickson was descended from William Dickson born about 1740 in Amherst, VA. Enoch (Henry)Dickson, his son was born 1773 in Nelson VA and died in Rutherford County, TN about 1840 in Rutherford Co. Enoch Nash Dickson was born in Amherst, VA about 1814.
