My great great grandmother had a sister Elizabeth EOFF, b 1816 Bedford Co. TN, d bef 1854, who married Alexander DOWNING. They had children: William, Andrew, John and Catherine. The children were mentioned in documents relating to the estate of William J. EOFF, who appears to have died in 1853 or 1854 after his daughter Elizabeth EOFF DOWNING.
