Two children of Stephen Spain married into the family of John Foster of Wilson County: Sarah married Rufus Foster and Thomas Edmondson Spain married Nancy Wilson. My ancestors are the Spains. I am descended from the brother of Sarah and Thomas, one John Quincy Spain. I believe Rufus Foster was also a CP minister???
