Still looking for information on Frederick Barfield, was in Rutherford County 1805 to 1822. Reportedly died in Madison County in 1828 but no estate or land records there. Lived near Key Corner, Dyer County, in area that became part of Lauderdale County. Courthouse in Dyer burned, no estate records for that time. Lland records exist but I find nothing on Frederick. However, his son, George C. Barfield did own and sell land in Dyer County. Frederick could have gone to live with him. Raymond R.
