I've been reading the Kate Carney diary. She was a Murfreesboro native who was visiting her grandfather's plantation in Ms...then came home...1861-62. It mentions quite a few Rutherford County names, among them is Dr. Baskett. I think Kate's Mom must have been a Lytle. (not sure...)
