    3. My Christian line begins with the Thomas Christian, I, the "immigrant ancestor." If this is your line, please let me know and I will be glad to share the information I have. It goes like: The earliest ancestor, Thomas Christian (ca 1636-after 1894), patented land in Charles City County, Virginia in 1687. He had four sons: Thomas (b. ca 1684); Charles; James (b ca 1692-bef 1752); and John. Samuel Preston Christian (b.ca 1844) son of abner Early Christian and his wife, who also was his cousin, Martha Early Preston was born in Wilson County, Tennessee. He married 1865 Mary E. Estes, daughter of Mathew Estes and Fanny Lasater. He inherited the Preston estate from his mother and managed it until his death in 1918. He had six children born in Wilson County, Tennessee.
