    3. This is something I should know. It's slipped my mind at the moment. Where does one get a copy of an obit? Is it at the deeds office?     3. I obtain copies of obits from libraries most of the time. Most libraries will e-mail them to you (free); some charge a fee of about 3.00. They research them thru the papers they have on file.
