Sampson THOMAS m. Suraney Williams 20 September 1851. Looking for 1860 census records. They married in Rutherford Co but were living in an adjacent county in 1860. I found their census records, lost them and have been unable to find them again. I can't remember the county, but remember that he was listed as a carriage maker. Charles STATHAM and daughter Jane STATHAM came to Rutherford County TN from Amherst Co. VA after 1810 and before 1820 when Charles was enumerated in the Rutherford County census. Thomas STATHAM and wife Susanna Phillips STATHAM came to Rutherford Co. TN from Amherst County VA by 1822. The Children of Thomas Statham and Susanna Phillips are: Elvira m.
