    1. Re: [TNRUTHER] Roll Call: STATHAM, THOMAS, WILLIAMS
    2. Sampson THOMAS m. Suraney Williams 20 September 1851. Looking for 1860 census records. They married in Rutherford Co but were living in an adjacent county in 1860. I found their census records, lost them and have been unable to find them again. I can't remember the county, but remember that he was listed as a carriage maker. Charles STATHAM and daughter Jane STATHAM came to Rutherford County TN from Amherst Co. VA after 1810 and before 1820 when Charles was enumerated in the Rutherford County census. Thomas STATHAM and wife Susanna Phillips STATHAM came to Rutherford Co. TN from Amherst County VA by 1822. The Children of Thomas Statham and Susanna Phillips are: Elvira m. 1. [TNRUTHER] Youree....
    2. Billie: Elizabeth Isabell was born 1820 - her father, James, was born in 1797. Your Silas was a first cousin of my Elizabeth Isabell... The James A. Youree b. 1828 you mentioned married Lucinda Walkup.... I have always been interested in your Francis Youree/Susannah line because I'd love to know who Francis was married to before Susannah -- who would have been mother of his daughter Isabell (who married David Beavers and was born 1811 -- when Susannah was only 12 years old, if her age is correct in 1850 census). 2. Beth Bowling
    3. I'm looking for the parents of Matthew Wilson Bowling, born 1818 somewhere in Virginia, moved to Rutherford County, Tennessee probably in the 1920's. He was married twice, first to Susan Yardley (Jan. 1, 1842) then to Nancy Sanders (Nov. 19, 1863)....this is my line. I have reason to believe that James Bowling, born 1815 somewhere in Virginia, died 1868 in Tennessee was a brother to my Matthew...so if anyone is researching this line I would like to know what information you might have on James' parents. Thanks for any help you can give me. Beth B

    2. Searching for FREEMAN, HORD, MURREY, PALMER, DWYER DANIEL MARSHALL FREEMAN......ELLEN E. HORD, ENNIS MURREY, WILLIAM J PALMER and my tallest brick wall, JOHN S DWYER. Any help appreciated. I have conflicting evidence that John S. Dwyer was my gr grandfather. He was establised as my grandmother's father in an estate settlement in the early 1960's when a granddaughter Lizzie Dwyer Williams died in Nov, 1957. A genealogist traced her family back to John S. However, I found a guardian appointment for a Joseph Dwyer, son of John S Dwyer, deceased, in Early Court Records of Bedford County, TN. I believe the authors were the Marsh family. There is something wrong with the history of this man. I need help.
