I'm researching the Bass, Rutherford, and Crawford families in Rutherford and surrounding counties. John James Bass, born about 1761 in Virginia, probably Brunswick County, died 3 Mar 1826 in Rutherford County, Tennessee. He married Temperance Jordan and they had seven children: Thomas, Benjamin Jordan, Temperance Weston, Nancy S., James A., Mary Clarke, and Hartwell. As far as I can tell, all the Bass families in the area at the time are related. Henry Rutherford, born 17 Aug 1762 in Rowan County, North Carolina, died 20 May 1847 in Lauderdale County, Tennessee. He was the son of Griffith Rutherford and Mary Elizabeth Graham. His daughter, Elizabeth Rutherford, married John Crawford. Heather __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Am searching Morgan Vaughn Ann
Haven't a clue --- Mostly I know they were in Tennessee or sometimes in "Rutherford" which is a county but also a city in Gibson County not to mention a county in North Carolina. For the most part my anscestors could seem to stay in one place very long. Loking for Maria Jane Pope who married Alfred Marion Halford before 1860 in Rutherford I have Kimbro who married Rebbeca Elviria Crocket ( daughter of Davy) he, Kimbro died and Rebbeca married James Halford.( Alfred Marion's older brother) They moved to Texas where they raised two or three Kimbro children . Alfred Marion and James's mother was Kieziah ( Kiziah, Kesiah what ever) don't know her last name, think she married Bradley Halford in Tennessee around 1812. Also looking for Farris ( Faris) Allen Alexander Blackwood McAfee ( I have an Azariah McAfee born in NC died in Tenn. It can't be a common first name. Does he connect to the Azariah Kimbro?) Thanks for any help Mary Halford currently in Maryland >
Thank you. I think it is great. How often do we do this? Could I get them all on one page for the day? There are so many to open.
