    3. I have seen a Daniel Thornton in the Rutherford county 1820 census. He is shown with only a young male and apparently a wife in the census. I was wondering if anyone had any info on this Thornton or others possibly in Rutherford say between 1815 and 1835? Thank you. 1. [TNRUTHER] Patrick Ryan
    2. I am looking for any information on my great-great-great grandfather on my mother's side of the family, Patrick Ryan. All I know for sure about him is that he is the father of my great-great grandfather, Joe R. Ryan, b. 8-15-1849, d. 2-13-1915, who is buried in the Clark Cemetery off the Old Nashville Highway between Smyrna and Murfreesboro. Joe was born in Tennessee; however, Patrick was born in Ireland. He may be the "Paterick Ryan" listed in the Rutherford County marriage records as marrying Mary Cotton on July 9, 1844. Any help would be appreciated.
