    3. Hi Teresa, I don't think Rootsweb is letting this one through..from what I've heard on the TNGenWeb list today it's pretty much contained to other servers and various lists. Good for Rootsweb! Apparently, it's rampant, though. I'm guarding the USGenNet IRC server with my life (yeahrightsure) ...I can just see it being taken over by crazed, maniacal lil ppl with nothing better to do than wipe out genealogy servers. Seems like they always target genealogy based projects. Actually, that's pretty smart..we do write lots of emails :) Mari At 07:16 PM 11/26/2001 -0500, you wrote: >In a message dated 11/26/01 1:57:37 PM Central Standard Time, >keyofbflat@home.com writes: > > > > Hi y'all, > > Have any of you gotten, in the past two days, emails that had no > > subject or message and the user name began with an "_", as in > > _keyofbflat@home.com? > > Thanks so much, > > Mari Byers > > > > > > > >Mari >I haven't noticed it, but if anyone gets one from the list, please email me >privately at cheasaG@cs.com or send an email to the list and put >ADMINISTRATOR in the subject line. 3. Hi Mark, Yes, you are correct. Thankfully, my good friend in Mississippi was a lot smarter than me and told me to check my machine! Norton was on the job and quarantined them. Apparently, there is a mean virus that has hit this weekend and today. Y'all be very careful...it seems to be going to genealogy based projects. 1. [TNRUTHER] Information Needed on P.C. "Lum" Merritt born ca 1880
    2. I am trying to connect the above name Merritt to my Merritt's from Dekalb County. Lum married two Manus women (Bettie E. & Jennie Catherine) in Cannon County, TN. Would everyone check their census records, etc. and see if they can find anything on him. Any information would be appreciated. He is not listed in Dekalb County census records but I do not have Cannon or Rutherford County census recordsfor 1880 and above. Thanks for everyone's time. Hopefully I can get some leads here....Robie

I have seen the books with the abstracts of the 1811 Circuit Court Records - but are those abstracts based on larger, more inclusive records? Any information on this subject would be appreciated. 3. I am a HOPE researcher. Our ancestor, David Beattie HOPE, originally from Davidson Co., TN, was married to Elizabeth "Betsy" Puckett in Rutherford Co. in 1824. I haven't been able to determine any other connection of his to Rutherford Co. - what he was doing therre, etc. He and his wife settled in Henry Co., TN. I would love to hear from anyone who does know something of the HOPEs in this picture, and especially any HOPEs from Rutherford Co. --- BONNIE WHITE <thewhitehouse-hixson-tn@worldnet.att.net> wrote: > I found some old photos, probably 1920's or so, > which were in the photo > collection of my mother-in-law.
